Abstract. This article explores the functional-semantic field of desire using modal verbs as an example. The subject of the study is the peculiarities of the modal verbs 愿意 (yuànyì), 乐意 (lèyì), 情愿 (qíngyuàn), which have a semantic plan with a number of specific nuances, the understanding of which can diversify the practice of translation and teaching, and enrich everyday communication with additional clarifying meanings. In Russian, the word 愿意 (yuànyì) is translated as “to wish”, “to want”, “to be ready”, 乐意 (lèyì) is translated as “to want”, “to wish”, “to be glad to do something”, 情愿 (qíngyuàn) is translated like "to want", "to prefer something". In this paper, we study in detail examples of the use of the listed modal verbs and how to translate them into Russian, depending on the situation. The materials in this article can be used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language to speakers of other linguistic cultures, as well as in professional translation activities. A comprehensive approach to the study of modal verbs 愿意 (yuànyì), 乐意 (lèyì), 情愿 (qíngyuàn) allows us to systematize the variety of their meanings.

Yilmaz E.R. Collocations in adapted and translated texts of the media information genre (Russian, Turkish, and Englishas an example)

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of using collocations in translated and adapted texts of the news genre. To get a clearer idea of the role of collocations in the context of information genres, we turned to the materials published from January to May 2020 in English, Russian and Turkish on websites. At the same time, we selected and analyzed both translated articles and texts that are information adaptations of the desired message. Due to the fact that there are still disputes regarding the distinction between translation (as a result of the translator's actions) and adapted text, it was necessary to raise the question of the definition of adapted and translated texts. To create a complete picture, the research also included the definition of other terms and concepts used to refer to a linguistic phenomenon in one of the three languages of the above texts. The purpose of this study is to try to 1) draw attention to the problems of translated and adapted texts; 2) study the options for successful and unsuccessful use of collocations; 3) identify the presence/absence of calculus in the process of implementing collocations.

Keywords: collocation, adaption, adapted text, translation, collocator, phraseology, ideomatics.

Litvinenko E.V. Formation and functioning the subject field of lexicon relating to “Aristocracy of Great Britain”

Abstract. The comprehensive study of words as the basic unit of the language system is an important task of linguistics. The article deals with a formation and functioning of the lexicon relating to the lexical semantic field "Aristocracy of Great Britain". The research is guided by definitional, etymological and synonymic analyses of the concept "aristocracy". The lingvocultural analysis plays a major role, during which such methods as lingvocultural semantization and "detailed explanations" were used. Four micro fields are identified in the specified lexical semantic field holding different positions in the structure of the kernel such as "persons belonging to the aristocracy"; "personal privileges of aristocrats"; "high social rank"; "form of government". It is given justification of their thematic orientation and the model of a nuclear where micro fields show a different number of members and a non-uniform shape in the structure of the nucleus. As the result, a peripheral structure of the lexical semantic field "Aristocracy of Great Britain" and its peripheral zones are offered.

Keywords: aristocracy, lexical units, a lexical-semantic field, a nuclear, a peripheral structure.

Khasanzyanova G.I. Specificity of translation of economic terms from English to Tatar language from the point of view of their nominative structure

Abstract. The international exchange of scientific and technical information has especially grown in the last decade, and the modern language is at a new stage of its development in connection with an increase in the level of informational content of culture. One of the significant obstacles to communication in the field of economic sciences is the difficulty in translating economic terminology. Interest in language and its knowledge is constantly growing; the number of scientific and technical publications is growing so fast that it becomes incredibly difficult to process the flow of scientific and technical literature. The translation and abstracting of foreign language literature is handled not only by specialized publishing houses, translation centers, professional translators of research institutes and industrial enterprises, but also by practitioners from various sectors of the national economy. The relevance of the reviewed article is due to the need to describe the terminological units of several languages (English and Tatar) in a comparative aspect.

Yusupova L.G., Kuzmina O.D. Computer terminology in the English, German and Russian Languages. Kazan linguistic journal

Abstract. The aim of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of formation of English, German and Russian computer terms used in professional technical texts. The study is relevant, because more and more processes in human life involve the use of computer or mobile technologies, new electronic systems and applications are developed, which, in its turn, is reflected in the language. This explains the fact that many works in modern linguistics are devoted to the study of computer terminology which actively penetrates into our life. The paper presents the results of the comparative analysis of computer terminological units in three languages, English, German and Russian. The study showed that the main way of the formation of the German and Russian computer terms is borrowing from the English language, while the English computer terms are formed mainly by morphological means. The terms borrowed from the English language are more changed in the process of assimilation in Russian rather than in German.

Belkina O.E. Teaching Russian as a foreign language using the input language material (comprehensible input, CI) in speech communication

Abstract. This article is devoted to the methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The author emphasized the communicative method, which is currently used in the teaching of the second languages as foreign languages. Krashen’s Monitor Model based on the acquisition-learning dichotomy was reviewed as a model for learning a second foreign language. This theory namely the hypothesis of input material (comprehensible input, i + 1) was selected and put into practice for the development of students' oral activities. According to the author, it is necessary that the exercise is more complicated and contains new didactic and significant materials that can interest and motivate the students in order to improve their speech activity. Furthermore, correctly formulated teacher’s question develops the student’s dialogical speech and multidirectional communication of speaking. As a result of the study, the author concludes that the i + 1 exercises are effective and adapted to the needs of the students. In this case, the development of oral skills will occur without a language barrier and in a meaningful way that is adapted to real life.

Key words: communicative method, the Russian language, monitor model, input material, oral activity.
